Bhavana de Montebello
Bhavana is an integrative, depth-oriented Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with children, adolescents, and adults seeking support with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship challenges.
Bhavana’s approach is relational and attuned, grounded in the understanding that healing emerges through felt safety, meaningful connection, and a deeper relationship with oneself.
Bhavana earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, where her training emphasized depth-oriented and humanistic psychology.
Bhavana’s clinical work draws from psychodynamic and attachment-based frameworks while integrating mindfulness, somatic awareness, narrative therapy, ACT, and trauma-informed care. She is especially interested in how early experiences, internalized beliefs, and emotional patterns shape present-day relationships and self-understanding.
Prior to her clinical training, Bhavana has spent almost two decades as an educator, creative artist, and parent. These experiences continue to shape her clinical presence, lending patience, imagination, and a deep respect for each person’s developmental and emotional landscape.
Bhavana approaches therapy as a collaborative and unfolding process. She strives to offer a thoughtful, supportive space where clients can slow down, explore their inner world with curiosity and self-compassion, thereby cultivating a sense of greater clarity, resilience, and wholeness.
